Safranhan Brasserie is the restaurant of the Divan Çukurhan hotel, which sits inside the historic walls of Ankara Castle in Ulus. It has two dining rooms and a terrace. The terrace serves breakfast and lunch in a relaxed setting, and in summer it also opens in the evening, so you can eat outside on warm nights. The quieter restaurant on the lower floor is popular for private meetings and calm dinners. Large windows fill the rooms with light. The menu mixes Ottoman dishes with international cooking, along with Divan's own specialties. Breakfast is served à la carte every day from 7:30 to 10:30, followed by à la carte lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open daily from 7:30 am to 10 pm, and you can call ahead to book a table. It is a good stop before or after a walk around the old castle quarter.
