About Dayi'nin Yeri

Dayı'nın Yeri is a kebab house led by Adana-born Şahin Usta, with branches in Çayyolu and Öveçler in Çankaya. Its big idea is simple: there is no menu. Every guest gets the same set feast, and you only choose your drink. The meal starts with many small dishes, such as ezme, cacık, shepherd's salad, fresh herbs, roasted garlic and onions, served with pide from the wood oven. Next come small lahmacun, then charcoal-grilled Adana kebab, tender çöp şiş, grilled rib pieces and liver skewers. It ends with semolina halva and ice cream, and tea or coffee is on the house. The restaurant says it has served this kind of meal for more than 18 years. It suits groups and families who want a long, generous meal.
