Ciğerci Aydın is a liver and kebab restaurant on Gazi Mustafa Kemal Boulevard in Maltepe, one of Ankara's older central neighbourhoods, where it has served guests since 2006. The menu takes ideas from the kitchens of Mersin and Konya, with skewered liver, meat skewers, a range of kebabs, pide, soups and local sweets. Meals come with a generous spread of free side dishes, which the restaurant sees as part of its welcome. The two-floor building has room for people dining alone as well as families and large groups, and the team puts weight on hygiene, fresh ingredients and friendly service. The restaurant also runs its own delivery service, packing its liver and kebab dishes so they arrive hot and fresh.
