Adem Doruk Alabalık Tesisleri is a family-run fish restaurant with roots in trout farming. The story began in 2002 in Karşıyaka, Ankara, when the family dug three trout ponds on their land and sold live fish. Customers asked them to cook the fish too, and the restaurant grew from there. This branch is in İvedik, Yenimahalle, in a green setting outside the busy centre. Trout is the main dish, served grilled, breaded or on aubergine purée (beğendi). The menu also has sea bream, sea bass, red mullet, anchovies and some meat dishes. Weekend visitors often come for the big Turkish village breakfast, served at long tables. There is a second branch in Eryaman. The restaurant is open every day from morning until late evening, which makes it easy for families.
